The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth organization in India that provides opportunities for young people, particularly students, to engage in activities focused on discipline, leadership, and community service. It was established in 1948 with the goal of grooming youth to be responsible and disciplined citizens while also imparting military training, though it is not a military force.
NCC offers cadets a variety of experiences that help develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills. The program includes training in subjects like drill, weapon handling, adventure activities (like trekking and rock climbing), social service, and national integration. It’s a great way for students to not only learn about military-style discipline but also to contribute positively to society.
National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. It also provides a unique opportunity for students to grow beyond academics and make lifelong memories.

To develop leadership and character qualities, mould discipline and nurture social integration and Cohesion through multi-faceted programs conducted in a military environment.
